Our backpack nurses provide women with access to a variety of modern family planning methods and essential reproductive health services, including breast and cervical cancer screening, postnatal care, HIV testing and counseling, and pregnancy testing. Additionally, these platforms offer women the opportunity to receive comprehensive sexual and reproductive health education from our trained Community Health Promoters (CHPs).

Our Integrated Health Outreaches are designed to address the comprehensive health needs of marginalized communities in rural Kenya. These outreaches combine multiple health services into one platform, ensuring that individuals can access a range of essential care in a single visit.

Kalyet Afya Foundation has established a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with public health facilities to ensure that women in rural areas can access family planning services at zero cost when referred by our 24 Community Health Promoters. We refer them to the nearest healthcare facility using the Kalyet Afya Foundation referral form. Advocating for drug and commodity supplies, we strengthen the capacity of local government infrastructure for better healthcare provision.

This program is designed to engage both in-school and out-of-school adolescents and youths, ensuring that they have access to accurate information, education, and youth-friendly services. For out-of-school youth, we organize various activities to create safe and engaging spaces where they can learn about sexual and reproductive health. These include youth rallies, sports events, and team-building activities. By combining fun and interactive platforms with SRHR education, we foster an open environment where young people feel comfortable discussing sensitive topics.
