At Kalyet Afya Foundation, we are dedicated to improving the lives of rural and marginalized communities in Nakuru, Kenya. Our mission is to provide essential healthcare and family planning services, promote reproductive health rights, and foster environmental sustainability. Through our mobile clinics and community-based projects, we strive to ensure that everyone has access to quality health services and the opportunity to lead a healthy, empowered life.

Ongoing Campaign
Reproductive Health For Rural Communities
This project will reach marginalized rural communities with reproductive health information and services. Through organizing free monthly health clinics in villages, offering family planning, HIV testing and counseling, child immunization, and cancer screening services in collaboration with the locum Ministry of Health Care Workers. Community Health Promoters lead these efforts by educating the public and mobilizing them to access the services.

HEALTH PROGRAM
Our study findings reveal significant gaps in primary healthcare demand in Kenya, with 1 in 5 individuals forgoing essential services and approximately 1 in 4 married women of reproductive age experiencing an unmet need for family planning.
ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
We are committed to transforming the economic status of women and girls in rural Kenya by providing vocational training, entrepreneurship support, and income-generating opportunities, empowering them to achieve financial independence and uplift their communities
ENVIRONMENT CONSERVATION
Environmental Initiatives include; planting trees to combat deforestation, training communities on sustainable farming practices, and developing fruit tree orchards to enhance nutrition and create economic opportunities.
